Terms and Conditions
About these terms
These terms cover your use of the BYKKO Service platform - the web application used to schedule bike and station servicing, record what was done, and raise the resulting invoices. By signing in you accept them.
If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation as well as for yourself.
Who may use it
Accounts are created by invitation only. There is no public sign-up, and you cannot create an account for yourself. An administrator invites you, and the invitation link sets your password.
What you can see and do is decided by the role you are given. Roles differ: a technician sees the jobs assigned to them, a manager sees the sites they are responsible for, and an external contact sees only their own organisation's records.
Your account
Keeping it secure
Your account is personal. Do not share your password, and do not let anyone else work under your name - the record of who did what is used to bill clients and to settle disputes, so an account used by two people makes that record wrong.
Signing in needs your password and a link sent to your email address. Anyone who can read your email can therefore complete a sign-in, so keep that mailbox secure too.
If something goes wrong
Tell an administrator immediately if you think someone else has used your account. Administrators can deactivate an account at once.
Acceptable use
- Enter accurate information. Service records, hours and parts feed invoices sent to real customers.
- Only upload photographs and documents that relate to the work being recorded.
- Do not attempt to reach records outside the scope your role gives you, or to probe the platform for weaknesses.
- Do not use the platform to store personal information that has nothing to do with servicing.
The information you enter
Service records, photographs, parts usage and invoices entered through the platform belong to BYKKO and, where relevant, to the client the work was done for. You keep whatever rights you already had in material you upload, and you confirm you are entitled to upload it.
Photographs are kept until somebody deletes them. Do not photograph people, or anything unrelated to the bike, station or fault being recorded.
Availability
The platform is provided as it stands. We aim to keep it available during working hours but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Work can always be recorded later; nothing here requires you to be online at the moment a job happens.
Changes
The platform changes as it is developed, and these terms may change with it. The current version is always the one published at this address, with the date it last changed shown at the top. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Ending access
An administrator may deactivate your account at any time, for example when you stop working with BYKKO. Records of work you did are kept after your account is closed, because they form part of the service and billing history.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, BYKKO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability is limited to resupplying access to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Contact
Questions about these terms should go to your usual BYKKO contact.
